Massage By Brie Continuing Education Classes Planned!

I Love Massage! I Love taking Massage Classes to learn new skills and new modalities to incorporate new techniques in my massages! I Love having my Own Practice in Midtown, Sacramento!

I have listed all of the New classes that I will be taking through April 2011, on my Massage By Brie, Website - About Me Page. Here is a recap of what I plan to do in 2011!

* Myofascial Bodywork Series - One of my specialties is Myofascial Release which is used for chronic pain conditions. I am currently taking a series of 3 hour classes on specialized Myofascial techniques.
* Infant Massage Educator Certification Training - This will be a 28 hour class in March 2011 that I am excited about. This will allow me to demonstrate knowledge and skill in guiding parents/families in the practical application of Infant Massage. Since I specialize in Prenatal Massage, and Prenatal Massage in the Delivery Room, this seemed like the next step. I hope to be able to work with Pregnant women through their Pregnancy, in the Delivery Room with them, and assist them with Infant Massage Skills after their babies are born!!
* Certified Massage Doula - To go along with all my Prenatal training and experience, I would like to do the training to become a Certified Massage Doula in 2011. Requirements of Class:
o 12 Hour Course + Test for Certification
o Read Two Additional Books
o Attend a Lamaze Class - Can anyone recommend a great Lamaze Teacher in the Midtown/Downtown Sacramento area?
o Attend 3 Births as a Doula Intern - I will need to find 3 Pregnant Women when I get to this point! - If you are having a baby sometime in the first few months of 2011 and are interested - please send me an email at brie@massagebybrie.com .
